Orlando Home Prices Rising Faster

“The cost of homes in the Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford area continues to go up, according to CoreLogic’s home price index for April 2017.

Central Florida’s home price growth year-to-year is outpacing not only Florida, but also the national average. From April 2016 to April 2017, Central Florida’s home price index increased by 7.7 percent, compared to the national average of 6.9 percent and the statewide average of 6.4 percent, according to CoreLogic (NYSE: CLGX).

However, Central Florida’s month-to-month home price change from March to April, which rose 0.8 percent, fell below the national average increase of 1.6 percent.”
